Thomas Haberer

Thomas Haberer (born January 8, 1984 in Bozen ) is a German singer , presenter and actor from South Tyrol , Italy .

Life

Haberer appeared on stage for the first time at the age of five. Since then he has worked in various theater, TV and film productions as well as musicals. He played u. a. the main role in "Der Berg ruft!" by Wolfgang Ambros and was previously a juggler and entertainer for a long time as a teenager .

At a young age, Haberer attended a music school for years and took lessons in singing, piano, keyboards, electric bass and music theory. He also took private lessons in acting (including with Christoph Hilger, University of Film and Television Potsdam ) and voice training (including with Monika Ballwein in Vienna ), attended coaching sessions at RTL ( Peter Kloeppel ) and completed a journalistic training. In 2005 he initiated the “New Talents Festival” (to promote young musical talents), which he designed and moderated himself. As a moderator, Haberer presents various events, such as award ceremonies, music events and galas. From 2005 to 2008 he also moderated the youth magazine Klick on the TV broadcaster RAI . From 2010 he presented event videos as a presenter and producer on the internet news site STOL.it and was a reporter for Servus TV.

At the United Theaters in Bolzano Haberer was on stage in Faith, Love and Hope ( Ödön von Horváth ) and the musical Jesus Christ Superstar . In the 2006/07 season he was in the opening production Was Ihr wollt by William Shakespeare in the Bolzano City Theater and as Alex Cooper in the classic Die Welle .

At the end of April 2009, Haberer stood in front of the camera with Veronica Ferres for the ARD film Rosanna's Daughter (director: Franziska Buch , production: Teamworx ) in Munich. The film was first broadcast on ARD in November 2010 .

In February and May 2009 he shot with director Philipp Pamer for the feature film Bergblut , where he played Kajetan Sweth . The feature film celebrated its world premiere in South Tyrol in spring 2010. The German premiere followed on July 1st at the Munich Film Festival, where it won the Bayern3 audience award . The film was shown in cinemas in Austria and Bavaria from January 2011. The film was also presented in Shanghai and America.

The South Tyrolean a. a. in musicals, at various events and in various choirs and still sings at weddings at weddings. Thomas comes from a musical family: his father Luis Haberer and his uncle Walter Haberer have been making music for many decades. And his brother Martin Haberer alias MAEXX is also successful as a DJ and producer.

Haberer also works behind the scenes. For example, he and his team organized the largest folk culture festival in Europe, the Europeade , in 2010 in Bolzano . Haberer also produces image films, TV features and reports with his own company, haberer media & entertainment , which is also active in the areas of content and online marketing as well as project management.
