Thomas Vogl (born February 9, 1977 in Landshut ) is a German ice hockey player ( defender ) who has been under contract with Deggendorf Fire in the Oberlig-Süd since 2012 . Sebastian Vogl , Thomas Vogl's younger brother, is also an ice hockey player.

Career

Vogl began his career in the 1994/95 season in the junior team of EV Landshut and one year later in the 1995/96 season his first appearances were in the DEL for the EC in Hanover and later for the EV Landshut. After his time in the DEL, Vogl moved to EHC Straubing in the 1st League South, for which he went on the ice between 1996 and 1998 . For the 1998/99 season Vogl signed a contract with EC Ulm / Neu-Ulm , which he left after just one season to try his luck in the top division at EV Landshut.

Even after the 1999/00 Vogl remained active in the league and moved to the start of the 2000/01 season for Deggendorf EC before in the Star Bulls Rosenheim signed a contract for the Regional League season 2002/03. After a very successful season in the regional league, Vogl moved to EHC Munich for the 2003/04 season , with whom he was promoted to the 2nd Bundesliga in the following season . Despite this success, Vogl remained active in the league again and signed a contract with the Heilbronner Falken for the 2005/06 season before moving to EV Landsberg the following year . In the 2007/08 season Vogl was under contract with the Lausitzer Füchsen , where he came up with the shirt number 26.

In April 2008 Vogl signed a contract for the 2008/09 season with the Passau Black Hawks from the league and played for this club until 2012. For the 2012/13 season he switched to Deggendorf Fire .

Vogl was used internationally at the 1995 European Junior Cup .
