Ti-Mo (born September 15, 1985 ; bourgeois Timo Erlenbruch ) is a German music producer and DJ from Bochum .

Life

Private life

Erlenbruch was born in Bochum-Linden and grew up in the Wiemelhausen district .

Shaped by the musicality of his grandfather, he attended the music school in Bochum at the age of 6 , where he learned to play the drums. Later he took over the musical design for families and class parties and thus gained his first experience as a DJ .

At the age of 14 he got the chance to hang up in the former Bochum ice club. A friend there drew his attention to the Digital Artworx record store in Witten , where he later did an internship .

There he got to know his current production and studio partner, Stefan Rio, who at the age of 19 gave him the chance to play in the large discotheque 360 Grad (formerly Playa Bochum). To this day Erlenbruch is regularly out and about as a resident DJ in clubs and discos.

Musical career

In addition to DJing, Erlenbruch is also involved in producing music.

In 2007 he released his first production entitled "Put Your Hands Up" on the Suprime Records label.

In 2008 he entered the German single charts at number 69 with the project “De-Grees” and a dance cover version of the world hilt “ Apologize ” .

In the following years Erlenbruch published productions and remixes in various genres (including for Scooter , Cascada , Alexandra Stan , Akon and many more)

In 2015 he produced together with Rico Bernasconi , Sean Paul & Toni Tuklan their hit "Ebony Eyes", which climbed to number 9 in the German single charts.

In 2017 the single "Stay" was released under his project Ti-Mo, which was remixed in 2019 by the Norwegian hardstyle duo Da Tweekaz and has been streamed over 1 million times so far .

He has been producing the Drenchill project since 2018. For the cover version of Gala's “ Freed From Desire ” he received a gold and double platinum award in Poland and was at the top of the charts there for 6 weeks.

On February 11th, 2020 he released a new edition of the Roxette classic “ Listen To Your Heart ” in collaboration with the American singer Samantha Cole under the alias “Surilla ”. The single was released on the Darren Styles and Da Tweekaz- led label "Electric Fox".
