geography
course
The deep is created east of the Windsheimer Kirchdorf Oberntief at the local sewage treatment plant from the confluence of the Lochbach coming from the west and the Schmalenbach coming from the northwest at an altitude of 323 m above sea level. NHN .
The resulting low flows in an easterly direction towards the Windsheimer village of Unterntief . The brook is reinforced from the left by several ditches that carry water, especially in autumn and winter, which arise at the foot of the Rosenberg ( 363 m above sea level ) and then the Pfifferberg ( 363 m above sea level ). The stream then crosses the village of Untertief in the same direction, above which the Schloßbuck ( 358 m above sea level ) rises closer and steeper to the right .
The valley then flows in a more north-easterly direction, passes under the state road 2253 and then passes the church village of Berolzheim von Windsheim on the left bank , opposite which the Kollerberg rises up to 365 m above sea level. NHN raises. Immediately after the village, it takes up the Krüglgraben , which arises far to the west, now runs roughly eastwards again and to the west of the Ipsheim parish village of Kaubenheim receives a tributary from the Riedgraben , which runs in from the northwest and has a long main upper course running eastwards in the Kaibach. At the inflow, the Tief turns to the southeast, passes the Kaubenheim, which is almost only on the left, and is crossed from the lower end of the village by the district road NEA 35 leading to Ipsheim .
Finally, it crosses itself, apparently in a culvert, the left side of this parallel Aisch flood canal and flows a good hundred meters further on at a height of 299 m above sea level. NHN between Ipsheim itself upstream and its Nundorfermühle downstream from the left into the upper Aisch .
Your (with the Lochbach) about 10.4 km long run ends about 46 meters below the Lochbachquelle, so it has a mean bottom gradient of about 6 ‰.
Catchment area
The 33.6 km² catchment area of the Tief is in the Vorderen Steigerwald and in the Windsheim Bay . It is drained to the North Sea via the Aisch, Regnitz , Main and Rhine rivers.
It borders
- in the northeast to that of the Nesselbach , which flows into the Aisch
- in the southeast to that of the Kühwasengraben , a tributary of the Aisch flood canal
- in the southwest to that of the Seenheimer Mühlbach , which drains over the Rannach into the Aisch
- and in the northwest to that of the Aisch tributary Ehebach .
The highest point is in the Güterwald forest and is 441 m above sea level. NHN high.
The catchment area is dominated by agriculture, only the western edge area is predominantly forested.
