Tim O'Connor

Tim O'Connor (born July 3, 1927 in Chicago , Illinois - † April 5, 2018 in Nevada City , California ) was an American actor .

Life

O'Connor made his film debut in 1949 with an uncredited role in the horror film Master Minds . Film roles should remain the exception in his further career; he was a busy television actor between the late 1950s and the mid 1990s. He first played guest roles in series such as Alfred Hitchcock Presents , On the Run and Twilight Zone and had a recurring guest role in the series Preston & Preston from 1962 . He gained fame among the American television audience for his portrayal of Elliott Carson in the soap opera Peyton Place , which he played in 339 episodes between 1964 and 1968. Between 1979 and 1980 he was Dr. Elias Huer appeared in the science fiction series Buck Rogers ; In 1982 he had the recurring guest role of Thomas Crayford in The Denver Clan . His few feature films included the 1973 horror film Sssnake Kobra and the 1991 comedy Die nackte Kanone 2½ .

O'Connor was married for a second time, the first marriage to actress Mary Foskett resulted in a child.
