Tiszavalk is a Hungarian community in the county Mezőkövesd in Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén .
Geographical location
Tiszavalk is located in northern Hungary , about 20 kilometers southeast of the city of Mezőkövesd , a good 45 kilometers south of the Miskolc county seat , on the Tiszavalki-főcsatorna canal , on the southern border of the county. Lake Tisza is south of the village . Neighboring municipalities are Négyes and Tiszabábolna .
