Titular diocese of Nept

Nept is a titular bishopric of the Roman Catholic Church .

It goes back to an earlier diocese of the ancient city of the same name in the Roman province of Byzacena or Africa proconsularis in the Sahel region of Tunisia . In 1933 the diocese, which had disappeared in the course of Islamic expansion, was restored as the titular seat and was first awarded in 1943.
