The Evangelical Reformed Church of Titus in the Gundeldingen-Bruderholz parish


The Tituskirche is an Evangelical Reformed church in the city of Basel . The building, named after the biblical Titus , is located near the Bruderholz water tower and belongs to the Gundeldingen-Bruderholz parish .

History and equipment

The Tituskirche was built from 1962 to 1964; the plans come from the Basel architect Benedikt Huber .

In 1990, 2003 and 2008, a 122 square meter solar system was installed on the roof , which produces 15,000 kWh of electricity annually.

organ

The organ was built in 1964 by the organ building company Geneva (Basel), and most recently extensively overhauled by the organ building company Klahre (Basel). The instrument has 28 stops on two manuals and a pedal. The actions are mechanical.
