Tom Mikulla (born February 19, 1969 in Freital ) is a German actor .

Life

After graduating from high school in 1987, Mikulla initially wanted to become a sports teacher, but was not allowed to study. In 1990 he was accepted at the Leipzig theater school "Hans Otto", after having previously worked at the Döbeln city theater for two years. In 1993 he and Studio Chemnitz received an ensemble award for the best production at the meeting of the German-speaking drama schools in Vienna. He received his diploma in 1994, and in the same year he made his first television appearances (including a first series role in And bye! ). He also appeared more frequently in crime novels (including Der Alte , Coast Guard , Tatort ).

From 2000 to 2002 Mikulla had a permanent role at Medicopter 117 - Every Life Counts . He became better known in the role of Chief Detective Christian Lind , in which he investigated from 2005 to January 2009 at Die Rosenheim-Cops together with Joseph Hannesschläger alias Korbinian Hofer . From his departure until 2012, he worked at irregular intervals as a substitute for his current non-Bavarian colleague Sven Hansen . In addition, since 2003 he has had a recurring guest role at SOKO Leipzig .

Mikulla was also a co-founder of the company sevenvier.leuchtendesign , which was involved in the manufacture and sale of lights (not intended for the mass market). He lives in Dresden.
