Toni Thomas Kraus (born January 23, 1997 in Erlabrunn ; spelling TONI ) is a German singer , songwriter and music producer .

Career as "de klaane Flugficht"

The third of four children of the former Randfichten member Thomas Unger came into contact with music at an early age and at the age of three stood for the first time on stage with his father's music group. In 2003 he appeared in Achim Mentzel's hit parade and at the folk music festivals as a solo singer and entered the German single charts with the single Ich bi e klaane Flugficht . Shortly afterwards he released the album Volksmusik, das ist mein Leben , followed in 2006 by the album Eins two three four .

In 2005, Kraus hosted Toni's own TV show, Toni's Advent Calendar, within the 12-minute airtime of the Sandman in Advent . At the end of 2005 Kraus was nominated for the Golden Hen .

From 2006 to 2008 Kraus worked as an external reporter for various programs on public television. He stood in front of the camera with Helene Fischer and Mireille Mathieu , among others . On September 25, 2006, Kraus was a total guest on TV .

In 2009 he announced a temporary break from the stage in order to concentrate on his Abitur at the Bertolt-Brecht-Gymnasium in Schwarzenberg .

On May 24, 2013 Toni Kraus released the new single Neonlichter / Sommerregen , which uses the genre of German pop, as a download and also as a physical sound carrier under his real first name Toni ( original spelling TONI ) . He wrote and composed both songs himself.

In June 2015 Kraus signed a record deal with Sony Music. In July 2015, Mark Schmidt from Annaberg-Buchholz took over his management.

On September 4, 2015, the track Sommerregen was released together with Gestört aber GeiL on the Kontor Records label, which also appeared on the duo's album in January 2016. In the first week the LP entered the German album charts at number two and number 15 in the world. Toni Kraus went on tour with Gestört aber GeiL until June 2016 and was a live guest at the sold-out concert in Berlin's Wuhlheide in front of 17,000 spectators.

On January 23, 2016, the picture tour started, on which Kraus and a live band presented their own songs for over 90 minutes. The single of the same name was released on May 20, 2016, the album Neuanfang on June 10 of the same year. Wo dein Herz ist was released as the second single on October 28, 2016, and Tattoos as the third single on March 31, 2017 .

In 2017 Toni Kraus u. a. as a preliminary act by Max Giesinger , Alexa Feser and Jonas Monar , City , Lotte and Lions Head .

On November 1, 2019, the second studio album was released on the high seas. Previously, the tracks Alles geht zu Ende and Polaroid were released as a single. The production was partly financed by crowdfunding .

Since 2014 he has also been working as a producer on studio recordings. Among other things, Kraus was involved in the second and third solo albums by his father Thomas Rups Unger as co-producer, arranger and songwriter. In 2016 Toni Kraus founded his own label flying spruce Records .
