Tourism Authority of Thailand
The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT; Thai การ ท่องเที่ยว แห่ง ประเทศไทย, ท ทท. ) Is the central marketing organization for tourism in Thailand . It is under the supervision of the Ministry of Tourism and Sports (MOTS).
overview
TAT was founded on March 18, 1960 and has been providing information and services on places of interest to tourists in Thailand ever since. The numerous publications serve to promote domestic and international tourism in the country. In addition, TAT also carries out tourism market studies in order to ensure improved planning on site.
The head office is located in Ratchathewi District , Bangkok . Today there are also 35 regional offices in Thailand, the first of which opened in Chiang Mai in 1968 . More than 15 offices are active worldwide.
