history
The place was first mentioned in 976 as Villa Trebesciz , which was donated to the Zeitz diocese by Emperor Otto II .
From the city of Teuchern and the communities of Deuben, Gröben, Gröbitz, Krauschwitz, Nessa, Prittitz and Trebnitz, the unified municipality of Teuchern was formed by law on January 1, 2011 . With the formation of the new city, the city and the participating municipalities were dissolved. In addition, the administrative community Vier Berge-Teucherner Land , in which all united communities were organized, went out.
