history
The place was first mentioned in a document in 1140 . Prittitz and Plennschütz belonged to the Kingdom of Saxony ( Weißenfels Office ) until 1815 and then came to the Merseburg administrative district of the Prussian province of Saxony ( Weißenfels district ).
From the city of Teuchern and the municipalities of Deuben, Gröben, Gröbitz, Krauschwitz, Nessa, Prittitz and Trebnitz, the unified municipality of Teuchern will be formed by law on January 1, 2011 . With the formation of the new city, the city and the participating municipalities were dissolved. In addition, the administrative community Vier Berge-Teucherner Land , in which all united communities were organized, ceased to exist.
