Tri-MG Intra Asia Airlines recorded two incidents in its history where the aircraft had to be written off:
- On January 4, 2005, a Boeing 737-200 ( aircraft registration number PK-YGM ) collided with a water buffalo while landing at Banda Aceh Airport . The aircraft was in use for the relief mission after the 2004 Indian Ocean earthquake .
- On July 18, 2017, the main landing gear of a Boeing 737-300 ( aircraft registration PK-YGG ) collapsed after a violent landing at Wamena Airport .
