The Tschona ( Russian Чона , Yakut Чуона) is a right tributary of the Wiljui in Siberia ( Russia , Asia ).
It rises on the Wiljuiplateau in the southern part of the Central Siberian Mountains around 820 km northeast of Bratsk . Its source is between about 800 m high mountains. From there, it flows north through the aforementioned mountainous region and initially parallel to the Lower Tunguska , which flows only about 50 km away from it. Then it turns to the northeast to flow into the Wiljui reservoir , through which the Wiljui flows.
