Gymnastics World Championships (trampoline gymnastics)
The world championships in trampoline gymnastics have been held since 1964. Initially the competitions were held annually, from 1968 onwards they switched to a two-year rhythm. Since 2009 the World Championships have been held annually, with the exception of the years in which the Summer Olympics take place. The organizer is the international gymnastics federation FIG .
