Tuva Moa Matilda Karolin Novotny Hedström (born December 21, 1979 in Stockholm ) is a Swedish actress , director and singer .

life and career

Tuva Novotny is the daughter of Barbro Hedström, a Swedish actress and David Jan Novotný, a Czech film director .

Novotny's career began at the age of 16 when she began to star in the soap opera Skilda världar produced by the Swedish TV channel TV4 , which made her very popular in Scandinavia . From 1996 to 2002 she appeared on the soap with a short break. She made her cinema debut in the film Tic Tac . In the movie Jalla! Yeah! did she have a leading role; she played in Sleepwalker , Midsummer and Invisible .

On November 23, 2004, Novotny was named by Prince Joachim of Denmark as one of four Swedish Hans Christian Andersen ambassadors as part of the celebrations for the author's 200th birthday in 2005.

Novotny is in a relationship with Nicolai Bjerrum Lersbryggen and has a daughter with him (* 2007).
