The third season of the US sitcom Two and a Half Men celebrated its premiere on 19 September 2005 on the transmitter CBS . The German-language premiere broadcast of the German Free TV transmitter ProSieben from 16 September 2006 until 24 February, 2007.

In German-speaking countries, the first season was broadcast under the title " My cooler Onkel Charlie " . From the second season the original American title was used and the German title was added as an addition: Two and a Half Men - Mein cooler Unkel Charlie .

Meanwhile, Alan cannot go to the bathroom himself and embarrasses Evelyn.

Meanwhile, Charlie is supposed to take calls in Alan's practice, instead he turns the practice into a brothel and works as a 'manager'.

Finally he also gets to bed with Judith, but he argues with her, so he has to flee in his underpants.

Berta temporarily moves into the beach house. She causes a strong argument between Charlie and Alan, so that Alan decides to move out. Just as Alan wants to buy one, Evelyn convinces him to beg Charlie so that he can continue to live with him, which is what happens.

When Charlie visits Evelyn, things only get worse because Evelyn says she sees herself reflected in him. That's why Charlie decides that Rose, who studied psychology, can treat him once. The treatment works, but it makes Charlie cackle like a chicken unknowingly whenever something rings. Meanwhile, Jake finds a friend who brings him a cream cake every day if he doesn't talk to the other girls for it. When the 'relationship' ends, Jake decides to start baking himself from now on.

Meanwhile, Charlie and Isabella go to a party in his honor, at which, as soon as Charlie is foggy enough, she and 12 other women perform a ritual and make Charlie swear. The next day, Charlie wants to take the oath back, but then changes his mind due to the effects of the curse that would follow. Ultimately, Evelyn ends the relationship because she knows Isabella and tells her that Charlie and Alan are her sons.

After Charlie and Alan celebrated their birthday with Rose, Charlie wakes up next morning next to his neighbor. He is afraid that she will do bad things to him again as she did before. Suddenly Rose's father, Harvey, is standing in front of the door to ask Charlie when he wants to marry his daughter. It is explained to the father that there is no relationship between Rose and Charlie. But to make matters worse, he is now in a relationship with Charlie and Alan's mother Evelyn. After a few days Evelyn rings the doorbell of the brothers and asks them for help, because she can no longer get rid of her lover. With Rose's help, they eventually evict Harvey from Evelyn's house by calling in Rose's grandmother. At the end of the episode, Harvey is seen stalking like his daughter.

Charlie gets to know a woman in a café, from whom he receives a tough rebuff. Since he saw that the woman had read a dance magazine, he then searches all dance schools in the area. When he has found the woman named Mia again, he uses Jake as a decoy and signs him up for dance class with Mia. Charlie had to pay Jake a little for it, but during class Jake falls in love with Mia too. When he finally managed to persuade Mia to go on a date, Jake becomes jealous and resents his uncle. Charlie then brings Mia home and tells Jake so that he is no longer angry with him. Jake gives up his dance teacher because he believes that 'no woman in the world is worth dancing'.

When Charlie is in the shower with Kimber (later Kandi), his somewhat older neighbor Norma stops by because Kimbers car is in front of her driveway. She meets Alan and spends the day with him, and she invites him to a charity event. On this, Norma made Alan the proposal to build the 'Alan Harper Health Center' in Beverly Hills with her money. In return, she wants nothing more than to get together with Alan. This is not yet fixed, but he gets a platinum Rolex from Norma on a date, so that he is so carried away by the planned health center and the watch that he sleeps with Norma. After Alan gets drunk at a family dinner, he decides, while vomiting, not to let women rule over him anymore. The next day, in the bar, with the help of Charlie, he discovered that his mother was to blame for his fear of rejection. Charlie helps him deal with it by letting Alan find a woman, Alan buying her a drink, and getting a rebuff. Charlie shows him that rejection doesn't mind if you're drinking a lot, and forces Alan to finish his glass of bourbon. Later, after throwing up again, Alan discovers that while alcohol does help, for him, unlike Charlie, it is only a temporary solution.

Alan has a new girlfriend named Sandy who is his cooking class teacher. Because of her fabulous cooking skills, she accidentally fats Charlie and Alan, so they both put on weight. Sandy also decorates the house for Christmas and cooks Christmas dinner for Charlie, Alan and Jake. It turns out that she is crazy because she still believes in Santa Claus and completely freaks out when the two decorative reindeer thunder and lightning are swapped. At the end of the episode, Sandy realizes that year after year she tries to make Christmas perfect, but Santa Claus is still not coming. Finally she goes to bed with Alan one last time.

On top of that, he played an epileptic seizure for Jake and his friends on the grounds that laser tag can cause them. Alan also gets claustrophobic in the car, so Charlie throws him out and leaves him on the side of the road. Later in the bar, Charlie notices that Alan's monologues about his terrible life work for two drunk girls, and he plays something similar for them. Just at the moment when the girls are swimming naked in the sea, Alan accidentally lights a curtain. At first she gets angry again, but Charlie sends Alan to Kandi and promises Mia not to sleep with anyone else. Meanwhile, Kandi shows Alan hers and Alan Kandi his chest.

Charlie is reluctant and tries to explain to Mia that he can't just call any ex-girlfriend to tell her that he is now in a committed relationship. However, Mia still wants to break up with Kandi. At first Charlie lies to Mia, but the breakup happens automatically because Kandi gets together with Alan. While Judith makes it clear to Alan that she doesn't agree with Kandi at all, Charlie and Mia sleep together for the first time.

Mia tries to change Charlie profoundly. She takes him for walks on the beach and power walks and tries to stop him smoking and drinking. Because Charlie can't easily give up on it, he hides in the garage to smoke and drink and pays Jake so that he doesn't reveal anything. Before the two of them go to a vegetarian restaurant, Charlie secretly lets Rose bring meat-based food to him and devours it immediately. Mia notices the smell of meat, whereupon Charlie confesses to drinking and smoking. When Charlie comes to Mia's apartment to apologize to her, Mia's has moved out; Her suicide note says she loves Charlie too much to change him, but not enough to be with him for who he is. That's why she took a job in New York and a friend lives in her apartment who, much to Charlie's delight, is a stripper.

Gordon is forced by Rose to dress like Charlie and he has to shout 'Charlie' in bed when Rose doesn't. Alan is late for the party because he's still busy with Kandi. When they finally arrive at the party, they stand out because Kandi rings the doorbell and therefore they look at all the party guests. Jake himself can't attend the party either because he swallowed vitamins that were actually Viagra.

Because Archie sings a song called 'Save the Orphans' at the party and the crowd is blown away, Charlie starts to get drunk. Charlie hit rock bottom when Evelyn drives away with Archie after Archie has won the award again. Alan still thinks that Charlie is the winner of the evening because he helped Rose and Gordon in a relationship crisis.

In the end she moves to live with Judith.

Meanwhile, Charlie and Mandi make themselves comfortable in the living room, but they are interrupted by Judith, who has something with Kandi's father Andy. The three couples end up in the whirlpool, but only Charlie and Mandi can stay in it because Judith does not notice them and therefore cannot throw them out of the whirlpool and out of the house like Alan, Kandi and Andy.

Charlie chooses to grant her request, but when he gets to the sperm bank he just can't because the thought that one of his children might grow up away from him and never get to know him is beating him. At the end of the episode, Charlie proposes marriage to Mia.

Charlie and Mia are planning the wedding. Mia's father invites Charlie, Alan, Kandi, Evelyn and Jake to dinner with Mia's family. After the family dinner went terribly wrong, Rose appears in her wedding dress in front of Mia's apartment door and tells her that she wants to wear it to the wedding. So Mia and Charlie realize that they don't want friends or relatives of their partner at the wedding and they decide to go to Las Vegas and run away. Charlie and Mia are about to get married when Mia tells Charlie that Alan will have to move out at Charlie's after their wedding. That's why Charlie called off the wedding. Alan asks him for the engagement ring for Mia so that he can marry Kandi.

DVD release

The third season DVD was released on May 13, 2008 in the United States . The DVD for the third season has been available in Germany since December 7, 2007.
