The twelfth season of the US sitcom Two and a Half Men celebrated its premiere on 30 October 2014, the transmitter CBS . The German-language premiere broadcast of the German Free TV transmitter ProSieben February 17 until May 26, 2015.

In February 2015, the series ended with a double episode as the series finale. Angus T. Jones and many guest stars and supporting actors had one more brief appearance. Charlie Harper also appeared, but was not portrayed by Charlie Sheen , but by a cartoon character and a double from the rear.

Walden and Alan are preparing for the Halloween party, Walden has dressed up as Zombie Elvis, while Alan is dressed up as Duckie from " Pretty in Pink ". Suddenly Walden felt a stinging sensation in his chest and was almost unable to breathe. Alan calls the ambulance. In the ambulance he is terrified of losing Walden. But it seems surprisingly calm. After Walden explains to Alan why he proposed marriage to him and that he is definitely not gay, Alan says yes. They then invite their mothers to share the good news with them. Walden's mother is not at all happy about it and wants to couple him with one of her employees. Walden doesn't want to, because he knows what he's got with Alan. But when he tries to get Alan to sign a marriage contract, he is disappointed that he no longer has confidence in him. Only after talking to his mother does he change his mind. After the baby's adoption fails, Alan and Walden meet up with Miss McMartin again. She could find them a six-year-old foster child who has already been to various families and homes. Walden then buys a bunch of things for the child, but Alan makes him realize that this is not a good thing.

After a trip to the amusement park, Walden and Alan come home exhausted, Louis fell asleep in Walden's arms. The next morning, Louis Walden wakes up at half past five because he's hungry and wants to make breakfast. When Alan later comes into the kitchen, Walden is startled because he fell asleep at the table. He complains to Alan about not getting enough sleep. It's Christmas, Walden and Alan have many surprises for Louis. But they find out that he doesn't believe in Santa Claus. Walden tells Rose, who happens to come by and knows everything again. Walden therefore hires someone to play Santa Claus and bring the presents. He installed a camera for this so he could record it and prove it to Louis. The gifts must also be wrapped for this. Walden wants to give Louis a bike, which Alan had to get. Wanting to save money, he bought it disassembled, which Walden is quite upset because with the instructions it seems impossible to assemble the bike.

Evelyn, who is also present, is having fun with Santa Claus, which Alan notices as he goes from the garage to the apartment. Alan and Walden try to get rid of them when Laurel calls Walden from the bedroom. Before they can get out of the situation, she's standing at the top of the stairs and Miss McMartin naturally wants to know what's going on. She is quite disappointed and threatens that she will take Louis away from them. Walden is totally desperate and doesn't know what to do next. Alan tries to help behind Walden's back by following Miss McMartin into a bar and trying to explain the situation to her again. But she cannot be changed. Walden overhears the conversation and thinks that he and Alan can now get a divorce because Louis' adoption is over. He informs Alan of this, of course he initially got nervous because he thinks he will have to move out again. But Walden calms him down and also offers him the option of choosing a present. In the evening he talks about it in bed with Lyndsey and reads her the suggestions he has made so far. Lyndsey recommends that he pick something that will last.

The next day, Alan surprises Lyndsey with the gift that he has chosen: a red Ferrari. Lyndsey is disappointed as she expected something different that means something to both of them and not just to him.
