The seventh season of the US sitcom Two and a Half Men celebrated its premiere on 21 September 2009 at the transmitter CBS . The Austrian free TV broadcaster ORF Eins broadcast the German-language first broadcast from September 4, 2010 to February 19, 2011.
In German-speaking countries, the first season was broadcast under the title "My cooler Onkel Charlie" . From the second season the original American title was used and the German title was added as an addition: Two and a Half Men - Mein cooler Unkel Charlie .

| Charlie's ex-fiancée Mia wants to start a new career as a singer and asks Charlie to help her. However, since Charlie believes that this could endanger his relationship with Chelsea, he refuses at first. However, Chelsea advises him to help her when he has no more feelings for her, so Charlie helps her anyway. When Charlie rehearses with Mia for her demo tape, he realizes that she has no talent for singing, but rediscovers feelings for her and keeps his concerns to himself. When Charlie becomes constipated , his psychologist advises him to choose a woman so that he can finally relieve himself again. Charlie chooses Chelsea and reveals to Mia that she has no talent and that he can't be with her. Meanwhile, Alan gets back together with Melissa and lets her move in with him bit by bit. | |||||||

| Melissa decides that if she's staying with Alan, she can bring her furniture to Charlie's house as well. When Charlie learns about it, he does not react with pleasure, but accepts it because Chelsea speaks to his conscience. When Melissa and Alan allow themselves more and more in the house and finally celebrate a party without telling Charlie, Charlie decides to go to the hotel. When Alan is alone with the two women, they quickly take over, and Alan also moves to Charlie's hotel. | Because Melissa no longer wants to come to Alan's house, Alan looks for cheap alternatives to have fun with Melissa. When Alan doesn't want to go to the hotel, but takes Melissa into his car, it becomes too much for her and she separates from him. To convince Melissa that he feels a lot for her, he invites her to one of his mother's demonstration houses, which ends horribly, however, because Evelyn wants to show the house to an interested couple. | Charlie and Alan argue like an old couple in public, which makes Jake very uncomfortable. Since the two of them always argue at home and also make fun of Jake, Jake decides to spend his weekends with his mother from now on. In order to provide a better environment for Jake, Alan and Charlie take a dispute resolution class that Alan took with Judith before their divorce. | Chelsea suffer from severe back pain . When Alan hears about this, he suggests a breast reduction to relieve her pain. Charlie pledges his support to Chelsea, but he doesn't like having to put up with half servings after the operation . To let out his frustration, he throws Alan out of the house without further ado, who moves back in with his mother. When Chelsea has her breast reduction appointment, Charlie implies that he wants to devote more of Chelsea's buttocks from now on, so Chelsea cancels the appointment and lives with her pain. | |||||||

| Since there is still no date for Charlie and Chelsea's wedding, Evelyn organizes one of the coveted wedding dates at the Bel-Air Hotel . Because Charlie can't find a good reason against a wedding in June, he finally gives in and accepts the date. To avoid Chelsea's annoying euphemism , Charlie and Alan drive to a bar, where Alan meets a woman and asks Charlie to use his special effects on women for him. When Charlie and Alan wake up the next day, the three of them, only wearing underpants, are in bed with the woman from the bar. In the taxi home they swear to themselves never to say a word about the evening and to quickly forget about it. | |||||||

| Chelsea's college friend Gail has separated from her husband and is recovering from the breakup for a few days at Charlie's house. Since Gail is very pretty, Berta and all the other male residents of the house are blown away by her. When Charlie brings up the problem, Chelsea reveals to him that her ex-husband is remarrying, and that it makes her feel stressed and unable to orgasm. | Chelsea and Charlie take dance lessons together so Charlie doesn't embarrass himself in his wedding dance. In a quiet minute he asks Chelsea what she thinks of a prenuptial agreement , and is surprised that she agrees without protest. When she then reveals to him that she is also a house owner herself, a world collapses for Charlie. Charlie is now unsure why Chelsea would even want to marry him, if not because of his money. Over time, Charlie comes to terms with the fact that his future wife has money too, and the two make up again. | |||||||

When Jake's friend Celeste shows up spontaneously, Jake has no excuse and no longer a girlfriend. Evelyn also took a man with her for Christmas. When that doesn't work, Jake seeks advice from Charlie, who advises him to be submissive and whimper for forgiveness, but that doesn't work either. Alan meanwhile has once again bad luck with his online date and therefore seeks human closeness with his acquaintances. He finds a fellow sufferer in Judith's husband Herb, who also has no one to talk to. When Judith learns about Alan and Herb's meeting, she stops them and Alan has to break off contact with Herb. | |||||||

| Chelsea suggests that Charlie visit her parents in Illinois for a week , whereupon Charlie looks for an excuse and decides to fake Chelsea a colonoscopy . When Chelsea decides to take him to the hospital himself, he actually makes an appointment for a colonoscopy at short notice. Chelsea sees through Charlie's plan, however, and invites her parents to come to Malibu, where they will be waiting for Charlie to return from the hospital. To get to know Tom, Chelsea's father, he, Charlie and Alan go to a bar. In the bar, Tom first gets upset about a homosexual couple, but realizes that they are happy together and that he himself prefers to be with his former Navy colleague Edward would be more than his wife. | |||||||

| Alan beats up a man on a blind date after he messed up with Alan's lady and spends a night in jail . So that Alan doesn't have to go to jail again, Charlie and Evelyn arrange a top lawyer for Alan to save him from jail. To celebrate the day, he invites Alan, Charlie and Chelsea to his horse ranch, where he throws a feast for poor children. Since Charlie doesn't like horses or children, he stays at home with Alan while Chelsea goes to the event alone. When Charlie realizes that Alan's attorney Brad is a competitor to him, he drives Alan and Jake to the ranch. However, they get lost on the way to the ranch and only come home late in the evening without ever having arrived at the ranch. | |||||||

| The relationship between Charlie and Chelsea has not improved, and Chelsea decides it is better if she collects her things from Charlie and leaves them with her father. After Chelsea picked up their last boxes, Charlie fell into deep depression and locked himself in his room. When Alan takes him out of his room after three days, Charlie gets up and meets Betsy on the way to the strip club, whom he takes to Las Vegas , where the two get married. After Charlie comes home with the new Miss Harper and introduces Betsy to his entire family, it turns out that Betsy is already married. Charlie, who has thus married a married woman, is not bothered by it and has once again had hot sex for a weekend without having any obligations afterwards. | |||||||

| After Alan finally managed to lure Charlie out of the house, the two go to the cinema, where they unfortunately run into Chelsea and Brad. Since Charlie does not want to see the two of them for the entire film, he leaves the cinema with Alan and lies in wait with him in front of Chelsea's apartment to see if she comes home or goes to Brad. When Chelsea is dropped off by Brad and then gets into her own car, the two follow her to Malibu, where she waits for them at Charlie's. Chelsea reveals to Charlie that she misses him dearly, and the two spend the night together. The next morning, Chelsea admits that she still loves Charlie but doesn't want to move in with him again, and drives home. | |||||||

| When Charlie, Alan and Jake are out eating pizza together, they happen to meet Chelsea's best friend Gail. Since Gail is also newly separated, she makes an appointment with Charlie, and it doesn't take long before the two end up in bed. Charlie's beautiful situation is shaken when Chelsea calls from Mexico and tells him that it didn't work out with Brad and that she longs for him. When the two finally steal beer from the fridge and get drunk on the beach, Alan decides to act and confront Eldridge's mother Lyndsey. | Alan's grandfather-in-law has passed away and mentioned Alan in his will . To pick up the grandfather clock that was bequeathed to him, he drives to Sacramento with Jake . On the way back, Alan is very concerned that the watch might be stolen and even takes it into his hotel room. However, when he drives over a bump on the highway, the trunk lid opens and the clock smashes on the road. Meanwhile, Charlie has trouble falling asleep and goes to Russell's pharmacy to get a sleeping pill. Since Russell is a fan of "natural medicine", Charlie gets a sachet of marijuana from him instead of a few tablets . At home, Charlie turns a bag with Berta and, while Berta is away to go shopping, gets delusions from his girlfriends, who blame him for their failed relationships. | |||||||

| Because Charlie has numerous unpaid parking tickets and did not show up for an ordered court date , his driver's license is revoked, which is why he now has to let Alan and Jake drive him around. Meanwhile, Alan confesses to Charlie that he's invited to Chelsea's birthday party. Since Charlie bought a present for Chelsea months ago, he asks Jake to give it to her while he waits in the car to avoid making a scene. Because Chelsea is overwhelmed by the gift and the associated thoughts of the time with Charlie, she goes out into the fresh air. Because Charlie doesn't want Chelsea to find out he's been waiting outside their door, he quickly drives away when he sees them approaching and drives straight into a police car. | |||||||
