2001 European Women's U-18 Football Championship
The 4th Women's U-18 European Football Championship was held in Norway from July 26th to July 28th 2001 . Germany defended their title and won the tournament for the second time with a 3-2 final victory over Norway . Players born on January 1, 1982 or later were eligible to play. Austria and Switzerland could not qualify.

Germany played in the final with the following line-up: Ursula Holl ( Nadine Nünnke ) - Mira Krummenauer , Linda Bresonik , Stefanie Becker , Sarah Günther - Verena Hagedorn , Marion Wilmes , Patrizia Barucha ( Annelie Brendel ) - Petra Wimbersky , Martina Müller , Viola Odebrecht . The goals for Germany were scored by Marion Wilmes (9th), Petra Wimbersky (59th) and Viola Odebrecht (85th), for Norway Marion Knutsen scored twice (32nd, 83rd).
