U-20 African Cup of Nations 2015 / qualification

The 2015 U-20 African Cup of Nations qualification was held to determine the seven finalists alongside hosts Senegal . The games took place between April 4 and August 31, 2014.

mode

The registered teams determined the seven final round participants in three qualifying rounds in the knockout system with home and return legs. In the event of a tie, the away goal rule decided on progress. If there was also a tie, a penalty shoot- out was carried out without extra time .

Preliminary round

The first legs were played on April 4, the second legs on April 27, 2014.

South Sudan, Guinea-Bissau and Equatorial Guinea withdrew their teams. Gambia has been disqualified. Only one match was played between Somalia and Sudan. The other teams had no play.

Lesotho did not compete.

Result

Zambia, Nigeria, South Africa, Ghana, the Republic of the Congo, Ivory Coast and Mali qualified for the finals.
