The Mundsburg underground station is a building in the style of reform architecture on the U 3 ring line in the Uhlenhorst district of Hamburg . It is part of the elevated and subway ring built between 1906 and 1912 by Siemens & Halske with the assistance of Hamburg's engineering department. The station, which was completed with the first section of the Hamburg subway in 1912, was designed by the architects Raabe & Wöhlecke . The interior was partially preserved, for example the swinging entrance doors and the wooden benches. In 1986 the station was extensively renovated. The bridge parts in the Mundsburg area were renewed in 2001 and 2011.
