The Uckermärkische Transport Agency (LAA) is the provider of public transport in the district Uckermark . The UVG emerged from the former VEB Kraftverkehr of the GDR. Today's company was founded in 1996 through the merger of the following transport companies in the region: Templiner Verkehrsbetriebes and Prenzlauer Verkehrsgesellschaft . In December 2009 there was a merger of the UVG with the PVG (passenger transport company) Schwedt / Oder and Angermünde. The UVG has had its headquarters in Schwedt / Oder since then.

Every year more than 6 million passengers are carried on 73 bus routes in the entire Uckermark district . The 4 depots of the UVG are located in Templin , Angermünde , Schwedt / Oder and Prenzlau . The UVG is a member of the Berlin-Brandenburg transport association . It also operates city transport in Templin, Angermünde, Schwedt / Oder and Prenzlau.
