history
The Ostprignitz-Ruppiner local passenger transport company was founded on May 22, 1992 by the former districts of Wittstock , Kyritz and Neuruppin and is now owned by the Ostprignitz-Ruppin district. It connects the villages of the Ostprignitz-Ruppin district in regular bus services, a large part of which is school traffic in rural areas. In addition, coaches are provided and rail replacement services are organized. ORP GmbH has almost 100 buses.

Two city lines operate in Neuruppin. Line 770 runs almost every quarter of an hour Monday to Friday and almost every two hours on weekends. Many journeys are made with the 756 and 764 lines. Line 771 only runs on weekdays, almost every hour and often as an on- call bus .

PlusBus
Together with the Transport Association Berlin-Brandenburg has Ostprignitz-Ruppin people Nahverkehrsgesellschaft the offer on the lines 711 (Neuruppin - Wusterhausen - Kyritz) and 764 April 17, 2015 one (Rheinberg Neuruppin - - Lindow) PLUSBUS upgraded. Line 756 (Neuruppin - Fehrbellin - Linum) has also been operating as a PlusBus since April 15, 2019 .
Rheinsberg lake bus
In 2008, the city of Rheinsberg started the Rheinsberger Seenbus project in cooperation with ORP and VBB , which runs on routes 785 and 788. The departure times from Rheinsberg (Mark) train station have been coordinated so that tourists from the arriving regional train can take the bus directly to the districts around Rheinsberg.
Lock line
The lock line 785 runs twice a day between the ZOB in Mirow and the Rheinsberg train station, which is connected to the train. This line connects the Rheinsberger with the Mirow Castle and is mainly used for tourist traffic.

Since January 1, 2005, the Ostprignitz-Ruppiner local passenger transport company has been a member of the Berlin-Brandenburg transport association, so the tariff is applied across the board.
