Walsleben is a municipality in the Ostprignitz-Ruppin district in Brandenburg . It is a member and administrative seat of the Temnitz office .
geography
Walsleben is located on the Ruppiner Platte , in the center of the Ostprignitz-Ruppin district, about ten kilometers northwest of the district town of Neuruppin .
Community structure
The residential areas Dannenfeld, Paalzow and Walslebener Mühle belong to the municipality of Walsleben.
history
Around 1490 Walsleben was part of the Ruppin rule, which was essentially imperial, under the rule of the Counts of Lindow-Ruppin .

Walsleben is connected to Neuruppin via Kreisstraße 6607 . The Bundesautobahn 24 (Hamburg – Berlin) with the Walsleben service area runs immediately to the east of the town . The Neuruppin junction is about seven kilometers south of the community .
Walsleben station is on the Wittstock / Dosse – Neuruppin railway line . It is served by the regional express line RE 6 Wittenberge - Berlin Gesundbrunnen , the Prignitz-Express , every two hours.
