history

The first secured place name form dates from 1445 as Vlrichstorff . Ullerstorff and Bilgisdtorff are mentioned for the first time in a loan letter dated January 20, 1451 . It is believed that the settlement took place as early as the 14th century. With the Reformation in 1539 the place became part of the Sayda parish . In 1667, Jeremias Brückner acquired the destroyed oil and grinding mill belonging to the Purschenstein rulership and rebuilt it. In 1770 Ullersdorf received a school. August Schumann mentions Ullersdorf in 1825 in the State Lexicon of Saxony regarding, among other things:

“It has around 250 residents parished to Saida, around 18 estates (mostly nicely built), 3 mills with 4  courses , and 1 oil mill, a hereditary dish and the like. s. w. "

Ullersdorf and Pilsdorf jointly operated a hereditary court in Pilsdorf. With the implementation of the Saxon rural community order on May 1, 1939, the newly formed community Ullersdorf with Pilsdorf was subordinate to the Freiberg office in community matters. After the end of patrimonial jurisdiction in 1851, Ullersdorf and Pilsdorf were henceforth subordinate to the Sayda Royal Court in judicial matters.

In the work “New Saxon Church Gallery” from 1901, Ullersdorf and Pilsdorf are described together. Concerning Ullersdorf it says u. a .:

“The number of goods is 26, the inns 21, the houses 19, of which 7–4–6 come from Pilsdorf. The nicely located school in Ullersdorf was built in 1874, consecrated on October 9th [Note: according to another source on November 8th, 1874], and is attended by 76 children (41 boys, 35 girls). - The so-called “machine” belongs to Ullersdorf, an inn, far away from the village, on the Sayda-Heidersdorfer Fahrweg. It was built at the same time as the subterranean part of the large artificial ditch between Mortelgrund and Dittmannsdorf, mentioned under Dittmannsdorf, by building a restoration for the workers around the interesting work near the point where the underground rock was brought to light by a machine For the sake of the area, it was visited a lot and after the completion of the work in 1857 it did not disappear again. [...] The name comes from the fact that while the trench was being built, people had got used to designating the (lifting) machine as the destination of the walks there to inspect the work, involuntarily referring the name to the building and also after removing the machine maintained. - The nearby inns came into being later. "

In 1915 the only teacher in the village was called up for military service, after which the students had to attend the Sayda school - 11 men were killed in World War I. On November 19, 1922, a memorial was dedicated to them at the school. In 1946 the first municipal council elections took place after World War II, and Ullersdorf received a mayor who held this office until it was incorporated. According to a report to the district office from the same year, there were 3 industrial companies, 5 traders and 12 tradespeople in the village at that time.

On July 1, 1950, Ullersdorf was incorporated into Sayda.
