Environment award for journalists

The environmental award for journalists has been awarded by the German Environmental Foundation in Germersheim since 1982 .

The prize is endowed with 2,500 euros and is awarded annually, provided suitable proposals are available. Individual reports, books, series of articles, films or radio reports on overarching environmental issues that are of particular importance are honored. A jury made up of the Foundation's three board members will decide on the award of the prize .

  • 1982: Mark vom Hofe and Herbert Haas (then Kölner Stadt-Anzeiger , later Westdeutscher Rundfunk ) for the article series Natur in Not - Environmental Problems in the Bergisches Land .
