The unkempt lady's mantle ( Alchemilla IMPEXA ), also truncated corners female coat called, is a plant from the genus lady's mantle ( Alchemilla ) within the family of Rosaceae (Rosaceae).

description

The uncombed lady's mantle is an herbaceous plant that reaches heights of 10 to 40 centimeters. The hairs ( trichomes ) stand out tangled on the stems and petioles . The underside of the leaf is often hairy over the entire surface. The leaf teeth are 1 to 6 millimeters wide, pointed and asymmetrical .

The flowering period extends from May to October. The outer sepals are 0.33 to 1 times as wide as the calyx lobes. The goblet is slim and of the same length to twice as long as it is wide.

The nuts are 1.3 to 2 times as long as they are wide.

The number of chromosomes is 2n = 100–106.

Occurrence

The uncombed lady's mantle occurs occasionally, especially in the western Alps as far as Styria and Carinthia ; also in the southern Swiss Jura and in the Apennines .

The Basenholde uncombed lady 's mantle thrives from the high montane to the subalpine altitude . It colonizes fresh to wet meadows , pastures , spring and tall herbaceous meadows .

Systematics

The first description of Alchemilla IMPEXA was made in 1895 by Robert Buser in New Denkschr. General Switzerland. Total natural science , Volume 34, p. 130. Alchemilla impexa belongs to the Alchemilla section from the genus Alchemilla .
