Administrative Court of Düsseldorf
The Administrative Court of Düsseldorf , a court of administrative jurisdiction , is one of seven administrative courts in the state of North Rhine-Westphalia . It is the second largest administrative court in Germany after the Berlin Administrative Court.
Seat and District of the Court
The administrative court (VG) has its seat in Düsseldorf . The judicial district includes the area of the independent cities of Düsseldorf, Duisburg , Krefeld , Mönchengladbach , Mülheim an der Ruhr , Oberhausen , Remscheid , Solingen , Wuppertal and the districts of Kleve , Mettmann , Neuss , Viersen and Wesel .
Courthouse
The court has resided in Bastionstrasse since 1971 . 39 , the so-called Stahlhof . The building was built in 1908 by the “ Stahlwerkverband Aktien-Gesellschaft ”, which was an amalgamation of the German and Luxembourg iron and steel industries.

Superior courts
The higher-level court is the Higher Administrative Court for the State of North Rhine-Westphalia in Münster. This is followed by the Federal Administrative Court in Leipzig in the course of instances .
