The 2017/18 VTB United League season was the ninth season of the VTB basketball league. 13 teams from 5 countries took part in the 2017/18 VTB United League season. The season started on October 2, 2017 and ended on June 10, 2018.

Tournament format

As in the previous season, all teams played a double round each against each other. Then the first eight teams played off the participants of the Final Four in play-offs. It took the winner three wins to advance. The tournament winner was determined in a final four.
