Zmoki Minsk is a Belarusian professional basketball team from Minsk , Belarus . The club currently plays in the Belarusian premier league. In addition to the Belarusian championship, the club plays in the EuroChallenge and in the VTB . Zmoki is multiple Belarusian champion and cup winner.

history

The club was founded in 2006 under the name "BC Minsk-2006". After its founding, the club reached the semi-finals in the play-offs of the national championship in the first season as well as in the following season 2007/08. Since the 2008/09 season, Zmoki has won seven championships in a row. On September 15, 2012, the club took the name "Zmoki Minsk".

Minsk has played in the EuroChallenge since the 2009/10 season. In the debut season and in the 2011/12 season, the club reached the group stage, but could not qualify for the play-offs. In the 2010/11 season they failed to qualify. Zmoki achieved the best result in the 2013/14 season when they reached the quarter-finals.

Minsk has been participating in the match operations of the VTB United League since the 2010/11 season. Here the club has so far not been able to reach the play-off round.
