Valorie Curry May (* 12. February 1986 in Los Angeles , California ) is an American actress .
life and career
Valorie Curry grew up in Orange County, California , where she attended Sonora High School in La Habra until she graduated in 2004 . She then studied theater at California State University, Fullerton, and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts.
After Curry had a recurring supporting role in the television series Veronica Mars at the beginning of her studies , she was at the university in student theater productions of Jim Leonard's The Diviners (including a guest appearance at the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts ) and William Inges Bus Stop zu see. She later played at La Mirada Theater in The Diary of Anne Frank by Frances Goodrich and Albert Hackett . Since 2011 she has been a member of the Coeurage Theater Company in Los Angeles, where she appeared in performances of Double Falsehood (by Lewis Theobald based on Shakespeare and Fletcher ) and Lanford Wilsons Balm in Gilead .
After completing her studies, Curry also resumed film and television work. In the last part of the Twilight saga, filmed in 2011 , she had a small role as vampire nomad Charlotte . On television, she appeared in episodes of CSI: NY and Psych . She became known to a wider audience in 2013 through the series The Following by Kevin Williamson . There she played Emma Hill , a key figure in the following of James Purefoy 's literary professor and serial killer Joe Carroll, until 2014 . She took on the role of Kara in the video game Detroit: Become Human by Quantic Dream , which she played in a tech demo back in 2012.
