Venables is a village and a former French community with 794 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the Eure in the region of Normandy . It belonged to the arrondissement of Les Andelys and the canton of Gaillon (until 2015: canton of Gaillon-Campagne ).

With effect from January 1, 2017, the former municipalities of Venables , Bernières-sur-Seine and Tosny were merged into a commune nouvelle called Les Trois Lacs . The former municipalities have the status of a Commune déléguée in the new municipality . The administrative headquarters are in Venables.

geography

Venables is located about 30 kilometers south-southeast of Rouen on the Seine . The surrounding neighboring towns are Muids in the north and north-west, Bernières-sur-Seine in the north-east, Tosny in the east and north-east, Villers-sur-le-Roule in the east, Vieux-Villez in the south, Fontaine-Bellenger in the south-west and Heudebouville in the west and Southwest.
