history
The Verbandsgemeinde Ramstein-Miesenbach came into force on April 22, 1972 as part of the Rhineland-Palatinate functional and territorial reform on the basis of the “Thirteenth State Law on Administrative Simplification in the State of Rhineland-Palatinate” of March 1, 1972 1972, newly formed. Previously, the administrative structures originating from the Palatinate (Bavaria) (1816 to 1946) essentially applied in the then administrative district of Palatinate .
