Verena Wiet

Verena Wiet (born August 30, 1925 in Bremen , † August 16, 2011 in Hamburg ) was a German actress , radio play and voice actress .

Career

After her acting training in Bremen and Oldenburg , she received stage engagements in Bremen, Flensburg , Aachen , Frankfurt am Main and Hamburg , where she appeared at the Junge Theater in the late 1950s under the direction of Friedrich Schütter . Later she could also be seen at the Thalia Theater and the Deutsches Schauspielhaus in the Hanseatic city.

As a voice actress, Wiet lent her voice to Betty White in Golden Girls and Golden Palace . As an actress, she has appeared in series such as Police Radio calls and Der Landarzt .
