The Berlstedt administrative community was an amalgamation of the city of Neumark and seven communities in the Weimarer Land district in Thuringia , Germany . Its administrative seat was in the eponymous municipality Berlstedt .

The municipalities
history
The administrative community was founded on September 13, 1991. On December 1, 2007, Hottelstedt was incorporated into Berlstedt. With the Thuringian law on the voluntary reorganization of municipalities belonging to the district in 2013, the Berlstedt administrative community was dissolved on December 31, 2013. The member communities merged with the communities of the Buttelstedt administrative community to form the new Northern District Weimar administrative community, with its headquarters in Berlstedt.
