Location of the former administrative community in the Weimarer Land district

The Buttelstedt administrative community was an amalgamation of the city of Buttelstedt and seven communities in the Weimarer Land district in Thuringia , Germany . It was based in the eponymous city of Buttelstedt.

The last chairman of the administrative association was Hans Wagner.

The administrative community was founded on January 1st, 1992. With the Thuringian law on the voluntary reorganization of municipalities belonging to the district in 2013, the VG was dissolved on December 31, 2013. The member communities joined the Berlstedt administrative community , which was then renamed the Nordkreis Weimar administrative community . The administrative seat is in the municipality of Berlstedt .
