Location of the former administrative community in the Weimarer Land district

The administrative community Nordkreis Weimar was an amalgamation of the cities of Buttelstedt and Neumark and 14 communities in the district of Weimarer Land in Thuringia , Germany . The administrative seat was Berlstedt .

The last chairman of the administrative association was Axel Schneider.

Communities

history

The administrative community was formed on December 31, 2013 from the merger of the Berlstedt and Buttelstedt administrative communities . As part of the Thuringia regional reform in 2018 and 2019 , the administrative community was dissolved on January 1, 2019. The member communities Berlstedt, Buttelstedt, Großobringen, Heichelheim, Kleinobringen, Krautheim, Ramsla, Sachsenhausen, Schwerstedt, Vippachedelhausen and Wohlsborn merged to form the city and rural community Am Ettersberg . This became a fulfilling community for Ballstedt, Ettersburg and Neumark. Leutenthal and Rohrbach joined the rural community of Ilmtal-Weinstrasse .
