Administrative community Teichel

The Teichel administrative community was located in the Saalfeld-Rudolstadt district in Thuringia . The town of Teichel and seven communities were united in it to carry out their administrative business. Its administrative seat was in the city of Teichel.

The administrative community was founded on July 1, 1991. The dissolution took place on January 1, 1997, because all member communities, except Neckeroda, merged to form the city of Remda-Teichel . Neckeroda, on the other hand, was incorporated into the town of Blankenhain in the neighboring district of Weimarer Land .
