Beled is a Hungarian town in the district Kapuvár in Győr-Moson-Sopron County . The district of Vica belongs to the city.
Geographical location
Beled is halfway between Győr and Szombathely on the Kis-Rába River . Neighboring communities are Vásárosfalu, Edve, Vadosfa, Rábakecöl, Páli, Mihályi , Dénesfa and Csánig .
history
The place name goes back to the personal name Belud . Beled was first mentioned in a document in 1230.
