Vicki Brown
Vicki Brown (* 23. August 1940 in Liverpool , England as Victoria Mary Haseman ; † 16th June 1991 in Henley-on-Thames , England) was a British singer .
Life
Brown was a founding member of the vocal trio The Breakaways in the early 1960s . She left the group after her marriage to Joe Brown in 1963, and their daughter Sam Brown was born the following year . She was a busy background singer from the early 1970s to the late 1980s. Although she also released albums under her own name, this was hardly a commercial success. Brown performed live with Pink Floyd for many years , including 1972–1973 on the tour for The Dark Side of the Moon and 1987–1989 on the tour for A Momentary Lapse of Reason .
Brown died in 1991 at the age of 50 years, the consequences of cancer . Her marriage to Joe Brown had two children.
