Vilson Dias de Oliveira

Vilson Dias de Oliveira DC (born November 26, 1958 in Guaíra , Paraná ) is a Brazilian religious and emeritus Roman Catholic Bishop of Limeira .

Life

Vilson Dias de Oliveira joined the order of the Doctrinarier , made his profession on February 2, 1978 and was ordained a priest on April 22, 1984 .

Pope Benedict XVI appointed him Bishop of Limeira on June 13, 2007. The Archbishop of Aparecida , Raymundo Damasceno Assis , donated him episcopal ordination on September 1st of the same year ; Co- consecrators were Antônio Carlos Altieri SDB , Bishop of Caraguatatuba , and José Alves da Costa DC, Old Bishop of Corumbá . The inauguration in the diocese of Limeira took place on September 15, 2007.

On May 17, 2019, Pope Francis accepted his resignation as Bishop of Limeira.
