Tata Sia Airlines under the brand identity Vistara ( Sanskrit for expansion without borders ) is an Indian airline based in Gurgaon and based at Indira Gandhi International Airport .

history

Vistara is a joint venture between Singapore Airlines (49%) and the Tata Group (51%). The first flight was on January 9, 2015 between New Delhi and Mumbai and between Delhi and Ahmedabad . Vistara is the first Indian airline with a frequent flyer program, based on the price paid and not, as usual, on the miles flown.

Destinations

From New Delhi, Vistara offers many destinations across India and Dubai .

New connections to London and Tokyo are planned from April 2020 . However, the first flight from New Delhi to London Heathrow did not take place until August 28, 2020.
