Paramount Airways was an Indian regional airline based in Madurai .

history

Flight operations began in October 2005. Founder and owner was the Paramount Group , a textile company based in Madurai. After the statutory blocking period of five years, during which Indian start-ups are only allowed to fly to domestic destinations, Paramount also planned to operate international routes from spring 2011. Your business class concept should also apply to international flights. No decision was made about the aircraft manufacturers and the types required for the planned long haul routes.

After flight operations had to be discontinued due to a legal dispute in winter 2010, the airline planned to resume operations, but this did not happen.

aims

From its home base at Chennai International Airport, the company served destinations in the South and West Indies, including Coimbatore , Madurai, Kochi , Bengaluru , Hyderabad , Thiruvananthapuram , Visakhapatnam , Tiruchirappalli , Goa and Pune .
