Uladzimir Dubrouschtschyk ( Belarusian Уладзімір Дуброўшчык , Eng. Transcription Uladzimir Dubroushchyk, also Russian Владимир Дубровщик - Vladimir Dubrowschtschik - Vladimir Dubrovshchik * 7. January 1972 in Hrodna ) is a former Belarusian discus thrower .

In 1991 Dubrouschtschyk won the European Junior Championships in discus throwing.

At the European Championships in Helsinki in 1994 he won with 64.78 m in front of the Russian Dmitri Shevchenko with 64.56 m and the German Jürgen Schult with 64.18 m and thus became the first European champion for Belarus.

In 1995 he won the silver medal at the World Championships in Gothenburg with 65.98 m, behind the German Lars Riedel with 68.76 m and ahead of his compatriot Wassil Kapzjuch with 65.88 m. He also won silver at the 1996 Olympic Games in Atlanta . With 66.60 m he was again behind Riedel with 69.40 m and ahead of Kapzjuch with 65.80 m. In Athens at the 1997 World Championships Dubrowschtschik finished fourth with 66.12 m, just two centimeters behind third-placed Jürgen Schult, and won the Universiade that same year .

At the European Championships in Budapest in 1998 , he was unable to defend his 1994 title. With 63.96 m, he took sixth place. With 64.00 m he reached seventh place at the 1999 World Championships in Seville . He threw the same placement with 65.13 m at the 2000 Olympic Games in Sydney . After the 2001 season, he ended his career.

Dubrouschtschyk was Belarusian champion in 1993-1996 and 1999. He threw his best distance of 69.28 m on June 3, 2000 in Minsk .

Uladsimir Dubrouschtschyk is 1.91 m tall and weighed 115 kg at competition times.
