The Waschbach is a nearly one kilometer long forest and meadow brook in the eastern Hintertaunus in the district of Usingen 's Kransberg district in the Hessian Hochtaunuskreis , which flows into the Wiesbach from the left and west .

The Waschbach begins on the eastern flank of a 396  m above sea level. NN high knoll between Usingen in the northwest and Pfaffenwiesbach in the southeast, on which there are several barrows . It rises east of the youth campground Am Jungholz and east of the Wehrheim forest kindergarten Wichtelland at an altitude of about 330  m above sea level. On Pfaffenwiesbacher Grund, a well is built above the wallows and provided with a handle pump . dep1A spring drains down the slope 2½ meters east of the well. In the edge of the forest there is a path abandoned up here, which has a ditch on its north side that absorbs the water from the source at the Schwengel pump and allows it to seep away. To the south and below the forest path, in the meadow-forest transition, flows the Waschbach , which is not connected to the moat on the north side of the path. After about 200 m the stream leaves the edge of the forest and flows into the meadow. The path changes from the edge of the forest to the edge of the meadow. This has several tree islands on the course of the Laundry . Rushes or ledges thrive on the brook . Around river km 0.3, the Wiesental is bordered by the path, the stream changes through a passage into a broken forest area . At its south-eastern edge, the stream bed becomes stony. At the height of the three fenced fish ponds in a coniferous forest there are quartz chunks in the bed, which indicate an extensive quartz vein to which the Eschbacher cliffs belong and which is still exploited today by a plant in the Usatal.

Few dam below the ponds of the forest and the ends Wäschbach passes, densely covered by trees and bushes and meandering in a meadow landscape, which until the tree-alder Wiesbachhorn enough. The K 728 district road between Kransberg and Pfaffenwiesbach was built along the meadows . The brook crosses them in a passage.

The confluence with the Wiesbach coming from the south, from the nearby Pfaffenwiesbach, takes place at an altitude of about 270  m above sea level. NN from left and west.
