In summer 2010 Rabbit completed a short try-out with the Croatian team KHL Medveščak Zagreb , which plays in the Austrian ice hockey league, and was then signed for the 2010/11 season . In June 2011, the Canadian received a contract with HK Jesenice , but around three months later he decided to join the San Antonio Rampage in the American Hockey League.
