The election for the city council of Berlin 1925 took place on October 25, 1925.

The SPD was able to expand its position as the party with the highest number of votes and received more than 30 percent of the vote. The Independent Social Democratic Party of Germany (USPD), which was of great relevance in the past, fell into insignificance with only 0.8 percent and one mandate. The German National People's Party (DNVP) rose slightly, closely followed by the Communist Party of Germany (KPD). In the case of the liberal parties, the German Democratic Party (DDP) saw slight growth, while the downward trend in the German People's Party (DVP) continued since the last election, with significant losses of almost 10 percentage points.

Among the small parties, both the Reich Party of German Mittelstandes (WP) and the German Center Party suffered small losses. In addition to the renewed entry of the anti - Semitic German Socialist Party (DSP) with three mandates, the also anti-Semitic Deutschvölkische Freedom Party (DVFP) moved in with three mandates.
