The electoral district of Bohemia 127 was a constituency for the elections to the House of Representatives in the Austrian crown land of Bohemia . The electoral district was created in 1907 with the introduction of the Reichsrat election regulations and existed until the collapse of the Habsburg monarchy.

history

After the Reichsrat had decided on the general, equal, secret and direct male suffrage in autumn 1906, the major reform of the electoral law through the sanctioning of Emperor Franz Joseph I came into effect on January 26, 1907 . With the new Reichsrat election rules, a total of 516 electoral districts were created, each with a member to be elected, which were determined by direct election with a possible runoff. The constituency of Bohemia 127 comprised the judicial district of Grulich , the judicial district of Landskron without the communities Böhmisch Rothwasser, Herobitz, Koburg, Nepomuk, Niederhermanitz, Oberhermanitz, Petersdorf, Waltersdorf, Weißersdorf, from the judicial district Leitomischl the communities Abtsdorf, Blumenau, Dittersdorf, Hopfendorf, Jansdorf, Karlsbrunn, Ketzelsdorf, Lauterbach, Nikl, Schirmdorf, Strokele, Überdörfel, from the judicial district of Polička the communities Böhmisch Rothmühl, Böhmisch Wiesen, Bohnau, Deutsch Bielau, Dittersbach, Laubendorf, Neubiela, Riefersdorf, Schönbrunn and from the judicial district Wildenschwert the communities Dreihöf, Hertersdorf , Hil Betten, Knappendorf, Mittellichwe, Niederlichwe, Oberlichwe, Seibersdorf and Tschernowier. The cities of Grulich and Landskron ( constituency 95 ) were excluded . From the Imperial Council election in 1907 went German agrarians Franz Peschka out in the first round as the winner. However, he died in 1908, whereupon his party colleague Josef Bernkopf was elected in the replacement election. In the 1911 Reichsrat election , the agrarian Wilhelm Maixner prevailed in the runoff election.
